Your pixel is probably lying to you
If you run a Shopify store, your tracking is almost certainly not as clean as you think. Purchases fail to fire, events get double-counted, and attribution jumps inconsistently between channels.

1. Smart Sending throttling flows

Brands often leave Smart Sending on inside flows, which makes sense for campaigns but not automation. In flows, it cuts revenue. Disabling it and replacing with proper filters consistently drives 10-15% more revenue within weeks.
2. Empty product blocks in abandonment flows

Checkout, Cart, and Browse abandonment each require different dynamic product configurations. Many brands simply copy and paste across flows, which leads to completely empty emails. We’ve seen one brand recover $20K in a month after fixing this.
3. Incorrect profile filters

If you don’t filter properly, customers get hit with too many flows at once. Deliverability drops, complaints increase, and conversions fall. A simple fix is ensuring Browse Abandonment excludes Add to Cart, Checkout, and Purchase.
4. Inactive triggers

Flows often look “set up” but never send. This happens when Shopify’s built-in triggers are confused with API-based ones. Too many brands only realize this after weeks of zero sends.
5. Missing foundational flows

Many stores confuse Abandoned Cart with Checkout Abandonment. Others skip Browse Abandonment or Winback entirely, even though they consistently drive some of the highest ROI in retention.
6. Overpaying for Klaviyo
